Heritage Bus Stop Roof

This is the roof of the heritage bus stop by the market.

Whilst waiting for a bus here recently, I was distracted by the starlings clambering on the roof.

Hyde at 5.30 am

Ever wondered what Market Street looks like at half past five in the morning? Well this is how it looks to the driver of the early morning 330 bus.

The picture here has been slightly cropped and straightened. You can see the original on My Manchester.

Blogger Oldham100 is a bus driver who posts photographs of places on the routes he takes.

For a very different view in the opposite direction on a Saturday afternoon see Hyde Daily Photo.

I also couldn't resist playing around with the image and creating something more artistic. You can view the result on Hyde Daily Photo.

Caxton Demolition Continued

Some three weeks ago I posted a series of photographs showing the Caxton Works Demolition.

These new photographs were taken last Saturday.

All that is left of the carved doorway is a gaping hole.

Behind the fence are piles of rubble.

This is the view down Edward Street.
