Accessing the Spiral Footbridge

Hyde Daily Photo today is featuring the footbridge over the M67 that ends in a spiral. I asked there, "How did the man get on to the footbridge?". You can see him getting on to it here, but not via this footpath which is closed due to work by the water company "United Utilities".

He had to gain access via this other footpath leading to the spiral footbridge.

He also had to negotiate this barrier!

    What a trek to get there!
    As «Louis» commented at your other blog with the related post to this one, as is so often the case, «Louis'» weekend work schedule means that he can't visit those who have contributed to Sunday Bridges until Monday. That being the case, he belatedly thanks you for participating!
