Users of the Trans Pennine Trail

A view from Knott Fold bridge looking towards Dowson Road bridge.

The former Godley Junction to Apethorn railway line is now used by the Trans Pennine Trail and the National Cycle Network Route 62.

Horse-riders can be seen on the right here and cyclists and dog walkers on the left.

They are close to where I photographed the tree roots you can see on my photoblog sithenah.

See the horses a little earlier as they passed by the oak tree at Foxholes on Hyde Daily Photo.

A contribution to Sunday Bridges at San Francisco Bay Daily Photo.

  1. You are first up again this week with Sunday Bridges, Gerald.
«Louis» very much appreciates your participation - and, being a history buff, he likes the historical context you so often include in your posts.
