Views from Brookfold Lane Bridge
These views were taken from the old railway bridge over Brookfold Lane. It is the first bridge on the former Godley Junction to Apethorn Railway but now is reduced to a footpath.
The view above is looking north over the fields by Godley Brook towards Station Road and the still operating railway line from Manchester to Glossop.
This is the view south-southwest over Godley Green to the War Memorial on Werneth Low.
The view south-east to Brookfold Farm can be seen on Hyde Daily Photo.
A contribution to Scenic Weekends.
