Chartist House
Chartist House is one of two such blocks of hi-rise flats built in Hyde, I think, in the late 1950s or early 60s.
The other is John Grundy House which can be seen on Hyde Daily Photo.
This view is taken from the entrance to the Clarendon Shopping Centre and John Grundy House.
The multi-storey car park on the left is due to be demolished and replaced by a Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet.
