Trashed Telephone Earpiece
Despite the use of mobile telephones there are still many telephone boxes left in the UK. Some now accept card payment but most take coins. Nowadays it costs 60p to make a local or national call of up to 30 minutes from a callbox. You can use up to four coins to pay - one 50p + one 10p coin, 2 20p coins and 2 10p coins or 3 20p coins. Alas, someone has totally trashed the earpiece of this phone and put it out of action.
See the whole box on Hyde Daily Photo.

Must have been one angry person to have bashed the earpiece that badly!
