The Cheshire Ring
The Cheshire Ring pub at the corner of Manchester Road and Canal Street was originally the Navigation Hotel and sold Chesters Ales. Now it is home to "Sailors Beware" the local chapter of the Lawrence and Hardy Appreciation Society and sells Beartown Ales.
Note the road sign on the eastbound A57 outside the pub. To join the M67 eastbound you turn left northbound. To join it westbound you continue eastbound!
See the pub's own sign on Hyde Daily Photo.
