Blue Boat at Adamson's Wharf
Last Friday we celebrated our son's 34th birthday and escaped the aftermath of the election by taking a trip down the Peak Forest Canal from Ashton to Romiley aboard Community Spirit, a narrowboat operated by the East Manchester Community Boat Project.
Passing Adamson's Wharf in Hyde we came across this blue boat moored by the side.
It had an impressive figurehead.
A contribution to Blue Monday.

What an odd (to me, LOL) figurehead for that boat! Would be interesting to know about the creator of that. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a boat with attitude. Someone enjoys being totally different.
ReplyDeleteDifferent looking boat! Hope your son had a good birthday!
ReplyDeleteHi Gerald,
ReplyDeleteWhat a laugh that must have been! Isn’t it fun finding blues to share? Thanks for playing today.
Happy Blue Monday!
I would say the owner is an eclectic person.
