Sky Watch Friday: Pawnbroker's Balls


This weeks contribution to Skywatch Friday shows pawnbroker's balls hanging over a shop on Market Street.

This is no ancient shop sign but a modern one and not the only one in town.

Interesting photo and information. Pawn shops are big in the southwestern U.S.--lots of Indian turquoise. And guns. (:<

Very unusual SkyWatch! I would imagine that pawnbrokers are quite busy these days.

I remember in the '80s these places emerging and from what I see they are growing again. Some business it seems flourish in a depression.
