Hibberts Family Butchers

Hibberts Family Butchers have been trading in Hyde for over 30 years.

They used to operate inside the Clarendon Shopping Centre Market where today you will find the tripe stall of Jack Curvis, Susie's Deli and Kelly's authentic Indian cuisine.

Three years ago they moved into a shop on Clarendon Place under a taxi-cab office. You can see inside the shop on Hyde Daily Photo.

Canalside Demolition

One of the canalside mills North of Nursery Road is being demolished. The photo above was taken in July and the one below in October.

Moorside Place under Construction

I took this photograph a few weeks ago from the Peak Forest Canal towpath of the homes being built on the former Automasters site.

I now understand the estate is to be called Moorside Place.

Horses & Cyclists

Horses and cyclists have seperate tracks along this section of the Trans Pennine Trail.

This was taken last Saturday as was the view in the opposite direction which can be seen on Hyde Daily Photo.

At the Corner of the Dell

Last week I showed you the stream running through the wooded dell in Hyde Park.

Following it along you come to a corner of the park with felled logs by a stone crossing. The logs have been there so long there is moss and fungi growing on them.
