An attractive sign, and wonder which "George" this one represents -a patron saint, or the owner?
Do you think George is wearing a gambeson?
Not messin' with that dude!ROG, ABC Wednesday team
There are several Dragon killers who became Saints ! I know a St. Michael !Nowadays you become a Saint without killing dragons, but for other purposes, lol!
Interesting sign!
I'd go in for sure. Nice sign!
I have St. George slaying the dragon hanging on the wall beside my bed. I am such a displaced Anglophile. This post I really like. genie
Oh yes -- a perfect name for a Pub and a great sign!
George was a brave man - or foolish - to be slaying a dragon in bare feet!
