Godley Hill Road and Kerry Way
The top of Godley Hill Road leading to the Kerry Foods factory has been reduced to a footpath following the construction last year of a new road, Kerry Way, which can be seen on the other side of the fence.
This view is looking back down the former access road.
The new road past the Kerry Foods factory (formerly Walls) will eventually lead to a new light industrial area being created on land at Hattersley, but for now there is access only as far as a farm.
Earlier photos around the area can be seen on the post dated 7th October 2014.
A contribution to Good Fences.

the fence toppers surely discourage someone from hopping over! good, solid fence!
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming that's mulch along the path- not a lot of pedestrian space.
ReplyDeleteLike the fence and the shadows of it! Looks like it keeps the people on the footpath very safe, and that's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSturdy looking fencing. I like that there is still a footpath.
