Black&White Weekend Reflections at Over Yonder
Another photograph from our trip down the Peak Forest Canal from Ashton to Romiley aboard Community Spirit, a narrowboat operated by the East Manchester Community Boat Project
A footpath signposted "Over Yonder" leads from Manchester Road alongside the Peak Forest Canal on the opposite side from the towpath down to the end of Raglan Street and the entrance to Tameside Animal Shelter. There used to be a footbridge across the canal to connect with the towpath and the Adamson Industrial estate but it became unsafe in 2006 and has recently been demolished.
You can see a map showing the location of 61 photographs I took that day and view them as a slideshow on Geo-trips.
A contribution to The Weekend in Black and White and Weekend Reflections.

Beautifully textured reflections. I love the name "Over Yonder" - sounds more like a description.
