J is for Jars, joints and journeys

O so many jars in Becky's Sweet Memories. Previously trading from the inside market they have now moved into the shop next to the Queens previously occupied by the Willow Wood Hospice Charity.

Hibberts Family Butchers was established in 1970, they moved from the inside market into these premises on Clarendon Place in 2008 supplying joints of meat and other cuts.

The office above the butchers used to be used by Metro Cabs and then Hyde Cars but is now used by Early Bird Travel who run minibus services offering journeys to all points.

A contribution to ABC Wednesday.

  1. Stopping into the butcher and the treat shop next door would require taking a good walk after all that food!

  6. Hibberts seems to have closed for good as of July 2018: I often used the shop up to 20002 when it was still in the indoor mirket.
