Clarendon Place in the snow

(Click on image to view full-size version)

A blanket of snow had fallen overnight and though the roads were gritted and passable, the pavements in town on Saturday morning were icy and treacherous underfoot.

This is Clarendon Place - see how it looked in Market Place on Hyde Daily Photo.

On Saturday night the weather changed to rain and washed it all away.

A contribution to Our World Tuesday.

  2. Heard there was freezing rain in Toronto this morning. Don't miss it here in Vegas where we are for the winter.

  3. My hubby is a long haul driver and is in Canada all of the time except for this week. He got mad because he got stuck hauling to New Jersey. We both prefer Canada in the winter time. You guys do such a better job of keeping the main highways clear and safe!

Well with that all said I would like to add thanks for sharing the great picture. We are starting to warm up down here where I live but it has been very cold!

    Happy day!
