Weekend Reflections:
Peak Forest Canal
Last week I showed here a photograph of Bridge #8 on the Peak Forest Canal.
Today's view is the opposite one taken from the bridge looking South down the Canal towards Woodley. Even though it was sunny there were still some pieces of ice on less sheltered parts.
You can see the view looking North from the bridge on Hyde Daily Photograph.

It looks like there is a walking path on the side of the canal. What a wonderful place to take a stroll! Great picture.
ReplyDeleteI see someone else way up ahead was also enjoying this footpath!
ReplyDeleteA nice country setting, and I really like that yellow edge along the path.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have thought the white patch was ice if you didn't say so. Lovely reflections of the trees. Looks like a nice place for a relaxing walk.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place for a nice walk. Hard to believe that there was still ice in places it looks like such a lovely day! Kathy
