Shadows near Knott Fold Bridge

(Click on image to view full-size version)

As cyclists head along the Trans Pennine Trail (aka National Cycle Route #62) the sun casts shadows over the former Godley Junction to Apethorn freight railway line.

See what they'll encounter at the next bridge on Hyde Daily Photo.

For Shadow Shot Sunday and Sunday Bridges at San Francisco Bay Daily Photo.

  1. That bridge is great! Built at a time of stone construction, it was built to last. The arch must have ensured clearance of the locomotive and train cars. That it still exists to cover a wonderful bike trail, it has the look of quality. Hope the riders are able catch a glimpse of this before the cross under...

  2. A fine old bridge, Gerald! Now, «Louis» is off to see you second contribution to this week's Sunday Bridges.

  3. Love the arch of the bridge.

Here's my shadow shots, have a blessed Sunday.
