Shadows near Knott Fold Bridge

As cyclists head along the Trans Pennine Trail (aka National Cycle Route #62) the sun casts shadows over the former Godley Junction to Apethorn freight railway line.

  1. That bridge is great! Built at a time of stone construction, it was built to last. The arch must have ensured clearance of the locomotive and train cars. That it still exists to cover a wonderful bike trail, it has the look of quality. Hope the riders are able catch a glimpse of this before the cross under...
