I Love Hyde

"I love Hyde" it says on the balloons tied near the pedestrian crossing on Market Street to advertise a day of community activities.

Just like last week when the Civic Square on the market ground was officially opened, the Mayor of Tameside, Brenda Warrington was on hand to get things started.

The baked potato stall was open next to Madge's ice-cream van.

The Friends of the Millennium Green were giving away free food to be enjoyed by all.
