Dandelions among the Buttercups on the Trans Pennine Trail

In the area separating horse-riders from cyclists/walkers on the Trans Pennine Trail at Swain's Valley, buttercups and dandelions are growing together.

Most of the dandelions are now puff balls but here one is still in flower surrounded by buttercups.

For an even closer view and an extra surprise see Hyde Daily Photo.

A contribution to Monday Mellow Yellows.
