Peak Forest Canal at Moorfield Place
Approaching Manchester Road along the towpath of the Peak Forest Canal.
Both the warehouse on the right and the bridge up ahead are Grade II listed structures.
Compare this with the view in July 2009 when the Automaster's factory on the right had been demolished but before the new houses that constitute Moorfield Place had been built.
For a view in the opposite direction see Hyde Daily Photo.

The first building is absolutely connected with water...Nice reflection...
ReplyDeletePretty scene with the red brick buildings and the towpath! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely towpath to walk along and great reflection of the red brick building Have a great weekend..
ReplyDeleteI like the symetrics in the architecture, and the brick color of the building. Nice catch on this reflection !
ReplyDeleteThe building on the left seems to be founded in the canal. The newer structures on the right blend in well with the scene.
ReplyDeleteNice place for walk, greeting from Belgium
