Leaves across the trail

On the Trans Pennine Trail two trees have spread their branches to meet in the middle.

Now it is autumn they have dropped their leaves together to form a carpet across the track.

The trail here follows the line of the former Godley Junction to Apethorn railway. In the background is the bridge that carries Dowson Road.

A contribution to Our World Tuesday and NF Trees and Bushes.

  3. I couldn't see the whole picture because the square with your tweets covers part of it. Maybe it just happens on IPad.
