On the Trans Pennine Trail two trees have spread their branches to meet in the middle.
Now it is autumn they have dropped their leaves together to form a carpet across the track.
The trail here follows the line of the former Godley Junction to Apethorn railway. In the background is the bridge that carries Dowson Road.
