The gleaming machine in the foreground, so I am informed, is a Suzuki VL 1500 Intruder LC which was a cruiser motorcycle with a feet-forward riding posture, shaft drive and engine balance shafts manufactured by Suzuki between 1998 and 2004.
I photographed these motorbikes parked in the Sheffield-stands by the Civic Square a few weeks ago intending it as a contribution to the Bicycle theme at City Daily Photo Blogs on August 1st.
Unfortunately my computer crashed on me before I could create and schedule the post. My trusty computer technician took it away for investigation. The problem turned out to be a huge build-up of dust on the inside of the case causing the fans to clog up and the computer closed down as they started to overheat. Having had a good clean out all is now well and I am catching up with things again.
I am posting this now as a contribution to Shadow Shot Sunday and Blue Monday.
Love the style of the bike in the foreground. I have not seen one in this colour before.
